EONS Executive Board elections 2017

In accordance with the Constitution of the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS), nominations are sought from the full membership (members of an EONS National Oncology Nursing Society or EONS individual members) for two Executive Board roles. The two roles are:

  • President-Elect
  • Board Member

For the position of President-Elect, nominations would ideally be received from candidates from countries outside of the UK and Sweden.

For the position of Board member, nominations would ideally be received from candidates with an interest in the Board member Communications role but this is not obligatory.

Nominees wishing to better understand the requirements and benefits of becoming a Board Member may view Board Member testimonials in the Further Information section of this page.

Lena Sharp (for the President-Elect role), Erik van Muilekom (for the Past-President role) and Paul Trevatt (for the Board Member Communication role) are available to discuss their experiences with prospective nominees. Nominees are asked to forward their queries to the Secretariat at eons.secretariat@cancernurse.eu

The election process as well as the role descriptions are available under the 2017 Elections Further Information section of this page.

The deadline to provide nominations is Thursday 4 May 2017. Nomination forms have been forwarded by email to EONS full members and the form is also available under the 2017 Elections Further Information section of this page.

Completed nomination forms must be emailed to the EONS secretariat at eons.secretariat@cancernurse.eu by Thursday 4 May 2017.

We look forward to receiving your nominations!

EONS full members will be cordially invited as from Monday 8 May 2017 to vote for their elected representatives. The list of nominees and the voting ballot will be available on this webpage at that time.

Please note: only individual members and National Oncology Nursing Societies that have paid their membership April 2017-March 2018 are eligible to vote. Invitations to renew (if applicable) your membership will be send out in April 2017 so please make sure that your membership fee reaches the EONS account before the deadline of voting (22 June 2017).
