Major research grant 2010

About the Grant

The EONS Major Research Grant has been established for European oncology nurse researchers with experience and a research profile to undertake a research study of relevance to oncology nursing. The study's aims should link with the research priorities set by the European Oncology Nursing Society (see EONS website for these). The grant is for a two year project and provides the total sum of 30,000 Euros plus one free registration for the researcher to attend ECCO or EONS Spring Convention.

Who may apply?

Individuals who meet the following criteria are eligible for the EONS Major Research Grant:

• European oncology nurses with at least a Masters (preferably a PhD) degree in Nursing or related subject.
• Applicants must be Individual Members of EONS, or be willing to become Individual Members of EONS.

Experience in conducting research is necessary, and at least two previous peer-review publications where the applicant is the first author, in established journals, are needed. Manuscripts submitted are not sufficient; however, articles accepted for publication may be included.

Deadline

Applications should be submitted to the EONS office no later than Monday 5 July 2010.
