Major research grant 2009

About the Grant

The EONS Major Research Grant has been established for European oncology nurse researcher, beyond a Masters degree, to do research, preferably multi-centre research. The study's aim should fit within the research priorities set up by the European Oncology Nursing Society (see EONS website for Research Priorities). The grant is for a two years project and includes the total sum of 30,000 Euros.

Who may apply?

• European oncology nurses with at least a Masters (preferably a PhD) degree in Nursing.
• Applicants must be Individual Members of EONS, or willing to become Individual Members of EONS.
• Experience in conducting research is necessary, and at least two previous peer-review publications where the applicant is the first author, in established journals, are needed. Manuscripts sent for submission are not considered, but articles accepted for publication may be included.
