EU member states urged to introduce colorectal cancer screening

The European Gastroenterology Federation reports that only seven EU member states have a “sufficient or very good” screening programme for colorectal cancer. Czech MEP Pavel Poc urged the EU to put pressure on other member states to introduce screening programmes to save “huge” numbers of lives.
