GPs should offer more blood tests for ovarian cancer

British health advisers say that doctors should offer more blood tests to try to detect ovarian cancer earlier. The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), which makes recommendations on medicines and procedures in the British NHS, says that greater use of a certain blood test would improve early diagnosis.
