Cells from human lungs regenerate damaged lungs in mice

A study reported in the New England Journal of Medicine suggests that human lungs contain stem cells capable of forming different parts of the lung, including blood vessels. These cells were capable of regenerating damaged lungs in mice. Read more on US News
