Genetic test approved for breast cancer treatment

The US Federal Drugs Administration (FDA) has just approved a genetic test that approves candidates for the breast cancer treatment Herceptin. The test analyses the proteins in breast cancer tumours and identifies which are more responsive to treatment with Herceptin.
