Identify depressive symptoms early in breast cancer patients

A Netherlands study has investigated the relationship between anxiety and depression and quality of life in women who have undergone surgery for breast cancer. The research suggests that women who suffer from combined state anxiety and depressive symptoms (CADS) before diagnosis are more likely to be experiencing fatigue and anxiety at 12 and 24 months after surgery.
