Multiple cancer survivors have worse health

Patients who have survived multiple primary cancers (MPC) have worse health than survivors of single primary cancer (SPC), according to a Dutch study. Multiple cancer survivors reported a higher incidence of problems such as diarrhoea and fatigue, as well as poorer quality of life. However, they were more likely to report that health awareness has had a positive impact on their lives.
