Imaging agent that locates lymph nodes is approved

An radioactive imaging drug called Lymphoseek has been approved in the US for locating lymph nodes in patients who are undergoing surgery to remove lymph nodes. The United States Food and Drug Administration approved injection for patients who have breast cancer or melanoma. It is the first new drug to be approved for lymph-node mapping in over 30 years.
