3 genes linked to pancreatic cancer outcomes

A retrospective study finds that the status of three major genes has strong clinical implications in pancreatic cancer. Alterations of these three genes has a strong association with malignant behaviour of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). This knowledge helps clinicians to decide on the best treatment for patients with pancreatic cancer.
