HPV testing forecasts risk over 18 years

Research published in the <cite>Journal of Clinical Oncology</cite> finds that clinical testing for the human papillomavirus (HPV) has long-term benefits for cancer prediction. HPV testing seems to be effective at identifying who would develop cervical cancer 10-18 years later.
