Protecting charities from abuse by extremists

The Charity Commission has published guidelines on protecting charities from being used to spread extremist views. Charities need to be aware of, and actively manage, the risks arising from arranging speaker meetings and distributing literature. Most charities have no problems of this nature, but all charity trustees and managers are urged to be aware of the potential problems.
