Most women "clueless" about breast cancer risk

A survey of nearly 10,000 women finds that women tend to wrongly estimate their own risk of breast cancer, with a mixture of overestimates and underestimates. The paper's first author, Dr Jonathan D Herman, commented that this implies "our education messaging is far off" and public information on breast cancer needs to be rethought.
