More support needed for ABC patients

A report on the impact of advanced breast cancer (ABC) finds that people
with breast cancer feel that they are perceived negatively by society
and isolated from the mainstream breast advocacy movement. Most patients
interviewed for the research wanted more support from and interaction
with healthcare professionals. The report, The Invisible Woman, also explored the often-ignored social and economic impact of metastatic breast cancer.
