New data on public view of fundraising methods

The think-tank nfp Synergy has carried out research into how the public views different methods of charity fundraising. Telephone and doorstep fundraising were jointly judged the most annoying, with street fundraising (otherwise known as chugging) coming third. Radio advertising seemed to be judged the least intrusive form of fundraising.
