European Multidisciplinary Cancer Congress 2011
The 2011 European Multidisciplinary Cancer Congress (formerly known as the ECCO-ESMO Cancer Congress) took place from 23-27 September 2011 in Stockholm, Sweden. EONS is a founding member of ECCO so this was your nursing congress in 2011. It offered a multi-disciplinary and multi-professional organizational approach to cancer care in Europe. EONS nurses wholly developed the cancer nursing track and were active on the symptom science committee and the education track. Nurses were found on the programme of many of the other tracks e.g. onco-policy.
