Report released on the future of nursing

A report providing an "action-oriented blueprint for the future of nursing" has been released by the Institute of Medicine. The report's key messages are about the need for improved training and making nurses full partners in redesigning health care in the United States. Although the report was released by an American organisation, it is recommended reading for European nurses too.
