Global cancer epidemic "a crisis in slow motion"

Cancer organisations are urging world leaders to attend a forthcoming conference on cancer and formulate a stronger response to the coming cancer epidemic. The issue has been described as "a crisis in slow motion" which kills an estimated 6 million people globally every year.
