Strong support for coordinated response to cross-border health threats

Responses to a consultation on the EU's Health Security initiative show strong support for the initiative being used to cover all cross-border health threats, including "threats arising from deliberate or accidental biological, chemical and environmental events". Most respondents also believed that better risk assessment is needed, with scientific expertise needed to inform decision-makers.
