Incidence of Rectal Cancer Increasing in Adults Younger Than 40 Years

The incidence of cancer of the rectum and rectosigmoid junction increased nearly 4% annually between 1984 and 2005 in Americans younger than 40 years, reports a study published online August 23 and appearing in the September 15 print issue of Cancer.
