Nodal control can be achieved without surgery

Study findings in an unselected group of patients with N2 head and neck cancer demonstrated that excellent nodal control can be achieved without surgery, using sequential chemoradiotherapy, if post-treatment results of PET-CT, which has high negative predictive value, are negative.
