Breathing and Respiratory Education and Training for cancer Healthcare - Breathe

At EONS we are developing an educational training programme for cancer nurses working with patients with lung cancer. With the growing number of patients with lung cancer in Europe and increasing number of patients with advanced disease this is a priority area for future cancer nurses. This educational programme is called BREATHE: Breathing and Respiratory Education and Training for cancer Healthcare professionals E-learning programme.

Despite patient surveys identifying unmet needs for individuals with lung cancer we are not sure what gaps exist in current nursing education and training. We therefore conducted a learning needs analysis before planning the educational programme so that we get the right level and practice focus.

We will keep you informed on this page as to the results of the survey and when the programme is available for cancer nurses.
