Feedback from Masterclass 2012 participants
“The Masterclass is a very well designed and delivered educational programme. It fits to the specialised cancer care nurse, but also to those not specialised but working in these settings. It provides up-to-date information and knoweledge to hot topics of cancer care. It also provides a platform where nurses, academics and researchers can inderact and establish collaboarations for future projects. Then you meet a lot of people that you become friends with...!”
“I enjoyed immensely the Masterclass. The Masterclass made me feel part of the big family of Cancer Nurses. It was a place where we felt safe to learn and share ideas regarding our practices. Although we came from different countries and with different cultures I realised that we spoke the ‘same’ language and all had the same aim, that is to continue to provide quality nursing care to our beloved cancer patients. It was as if we had known each other for a long time.”
“Despite the intensity of the programme I felt very well supported, had enough time to clarify my questions and was extremely impressed by the organisation of the sessions and experience and expertise of the teachers.”
“A very well organized education with a lot of great topics with new learning. A good opportunity to get some new skills and to get exchange with colleagues from Europe....and not to forget the lovely place, Ermatingen, with the lovely food and everything.”
“We had a fantastic week. Both the lectures and the surroundings/settings were fantastic. The nursing lectures were all very good but I wish that there were more time for some of them.”
“The international group of nurses was a rich mixture of all kind of experiences. I learned other views in handling and looking at problems.”
