Innovation in coaching and mentoring: Developing specialist cancer nurses for the future.

This one day workshop aimed at healthcare practitioners and educators who facilitate clinical learning and provide specialist education for registered nurses undertaking vocational qualifications or continuing professional development (CPD).

Clinical skill development is an important aspect of developing further expertise and is a fundamental requirement behind the core skills and competencies of EONS post basic curricula in Europe for cancer nursing.The aim of the workshop was to introduce participants to new ways of coaching in health care education and share best practice.
