The Congress, formerly known as ‘the ECCO congress’, will take place from 27 September - 1 October 2013 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
More than 16 000 participants will meet to discuss, debate and deliberate the best possible treatment and care for cancer patients. The pioneering programme will showcase the latest developments in practice-changing studies of new and significant scientific importance and will reinforce cooperative working as the optimal professional efficiency in practice. A comprehensive, stimulating, rigorous and highly educational scientific experience, irrespective of participants’ roles or focus in oncology is guaranteed for all.
The European Cancer Congress is also the annual congress of the ECCO Founding Members (ESMO, EORTC, ESTRO, ESSO, EACR, EONS and SIOPE). These societies form a powerful combination of senior organisations, endorsing multi-disciplinarity and multi-professionalism as the way forward to best improve the cancer patient experience.
