Europe faces drop in clinical research

There has been a decline in the number of clinical trials taking place
in Europe, according to data from the clinicaltrials.gov portal. Europe
also has a low level of clinical trials activity compared to the US and
Singapore. Consultant Meir Pugatch argues that this is because of a combination of public sector cuts and cost containment measures.
