Melatonin helps with survivors' sleep problems

Research finds that the hormone melatonin can help with sleep problems in breast cancer survivors. 95 post-menopausal women participated in the study, all of whom had completed active treatment for breast cancer. Participants who took the melatonin reported significant improvements in sleep quality compared to those given a placebo. There appear to have been no significant adverse effects.
