On European Cancer Nursing Day 2026 (ECND26), we will come together to celebrate and recognise the extraordinary contribution of cancer nurses across Europe.
This year’s theme, “Supporting Life Beyond Cancer”, shines a spotlight on the vital role cancer nurses play in survivorship, long-term follow-up, and holistic, patient-centred care beyond active treatment. From diagnosis through recovery and beyond, cancer nurses are there every step of the way, supporting individuals and families to live well after cancer.
To mark the occasion, events and activities will take place online on the 18th of May bringing the European cancer nursing community together.
ECND26 will unite cancer nurses from across Europe to highlight the impact of their work and to advocate for stronger recognition of cancer nursing across all care settings.
