HPV Awareness Day: Recognising the Role of Nurses in HPV Prevention

Nurses play a central role in delivering HPV vaccination, helping to prevent cancers and save millions of lives worldwide. On HPV Awareness Day, we recognise the vital contribution of nurses in promoting vaccination, educating patients and communities, and supporting informed decisions about screening and prevention.

Despite significant progress across Europe, inequalities in access to HPV vaccination and screening remain. Strengthening prevention efforts and improving equitable access are essential steps towards eliminating HPV-related cancers.
