ECND 2026 Social Media Toolkit is now available to use and share!

EONS is pleased to announce that the European Cancer Nursing Day 2026 (ECND26) Social Media Toolkit is now available.

This year’s theme, “Supporting Life Beyond Cancer,” highlights the vital role cancer nurses play not only during diagnosis and treatment but throughout survivorship, long-term follow-up, rehabilitation, and palliative care. Across Europe and beyond, cancer nurses provide essential support that helps people affected by cancer live well beyond their diagnosis.

The ECND26 Social Media Toolkit has been developed to help individuals and organisations raise awareness and join the campaign in the lead-up to and on European Cancer Nursing Day, 18 May 2026.

The toolkit includes:

Key Messages

  1. Supporting life beyond cancer: nursing support that lasts a lifetime
  2. Where treatment ends, nursing continues
  3. Improving life with high-quality cancer nursing practice and research
  4. Cancer nurses support life at every stage of care
  5. Cancer nursing: beyond diagnosis, treatment, and survival

Five campaign messages highlighting the impact of cancer nursing across the entire cancer care continuum – from prevention and treatment to survivorship and end-of-life care. These messages emphasise the importance of recognising and strengthening cancer nursing across all healthcare settings.
