ECLIPTIC is a leading vocational educational training initiative designed to equip experienced cancer nurses with advanced clinical skills, leadership training, and expert insight into patient-centred, interdisciplinary cancer care. The project is funded under European Commission Erasmus + Programme (COD. 2024-2-BE01-KA210-VET-000287146, NATIONAL ID: 24PSP0013)
Objectives
1. Enhance the clinical skills and patient care through intensive immersion in up-to-date oncology practices, equip the participant nurses with advanced knowledge and techniques to provide high-quality patient care.
2. Increase nurses specialist practice skills such as studying new practical procedures, including assessment and safety protocols, effective communication techniques, complex symptom management, nursing research methodologies, and addressing psychosocial consequences of cancer therapies thanks to simulation clinics.
3. Increase clinical leadership skills of nurses by providing networking sessions for participants to reflect on their role in clinical bed site leadership within the context of cancer nursing.
Expected Outcomes
- +30 cancer nurses trained and upskilled to provide high quality care to patients
- +90% of participants completing the full training programme proposed
- +60% of increasing perception of participants on the improvement of their skills
- 85% of participant satisfied for the Project’s activities (score 8/10)
- One pivotal European model for training cancer nurses
Who Should Apply
- Experienced cancer nurses with 3–5+ years of clinical experience
- Nurses involved in direct patient care, coordination, or management
- Fluent in English
Programme Highlights
- 3.5 days of intensive, interactive learning
