On European Cancer Nursing Day 2026 (ECND26), we will come together to celebrate and recognise the extraordinary contribution of cancer nurses across Europe.
This year’s theme, “Supporting Life Beyond Cancer”, shines a spotlight on the vital role cancer nurses play in survivorship, long-term follow-up, and holistic, patient-centred care beyond active treatment. From diagnosis through recovery and beyond, cancer nurses are there every step of the way, supporting individuals and families to live well after cancer.
To mark the occasion, events and activities will take place from 14 to 17 May 2026 in Limassol, Cyprus, bringing the European cancer nursing community together ahead of ECND on 18 May.
ECND26 will unite cancer nurses from across Europe to highlight the impact of their work and to advocate for stronger recognition of cancer nursing across all care settings.
