One of this month’s highlights is a look back at the success of European Cancer Nursing Day 2025 (ECND25). Reflecting on this year’s theme, “Cancer Nursing Beyond Borders,” ECND25 Chair Mary shared:
"Serving as Chair of ECND25 has been an honour, working alongside a committed task group and the Hellenic Oncology Nursing Society. Cancer care is often fragmented by borders such as geographic, cultural, and systemic barriers, leading to disparities in access and outcomes and restricting resources and collaboration. The European Oncology Nursing Society, its national member societies, and cancer nurses serve as vital connectors, overcoming these boundaries through expertise, advocacy, and networking. This year’s ECND event in Athens was a testament to how cancer nurses working together can bridge gaps. During our roundtable discussions, passionate cancer nurses shared diverse perspectives on cancer nursing research, education, advocacy, and practice, reinforcing our commitment to united efforts in improving patient care."
This edition also features updates on the Early Career Research Grant, INTERACT-EUROPE 100, the Good Day Project, and the brand new ADC webinar series for cancer nurses.
