Equitable and Sustainable Care: The Ever-Evolving Cancer Nursing Workforce

About the event

EONS is pleased to announce its 19th Congress (EONS19), taking place as part of the prestigious ESMO Congress 2026 in Madrid, Spain, from 24–26 October 2026. Hosted at IFEMA Madrid, EONS19 will once again bring together cancer nurses, researchers, educators, and healthcare professionals from across Europe and beyond.

Under the theme “Equitable and Sustainable Care: The Ever-Evolving Cancer Nursing Workforce”, EONS19 will provide a dynamic platform to explore how cancer nursing continues to adapt to emerging challenges, innovations, and population needs. The congress will highlight the vital role of nurses in driving digital innovation, advancing equitable care, strengthening palliative and supportive care, promoting prevention and early detection, and shaping a resilient workforce for the future.

Through a rich scientific programme, EONS19 will foster knowledge exchange, showcase best practices, and support collaboration across the cancer care continuum, reinforcing EONS’ ongoing commitment to excellence, sustainability, and equity in cancer nursing.

EONS19 will be an unmissable opportunity to connect, collaborate, and contribute to shaping the future of cancer nursing.
